Formed in 1935, Old Time Newsies is a volunteer organization that has raised more than $2 million to support local charities in Dayton, Ohio. The purpose of Old Time Newsies is to promote the social welfare of the residents of Montgomery County, Ohio. The organization's major fundraising events include the annual Old Time Newsies Block Party and Regional AMA Championship Motorcycle Races as well as the annual Pins & Grins bowling tournament. Over the years, Old Time Newsies has made significant contributions to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Miami Valley and similar non-profit organizations.
